That’s me. Obsessed with helping people find and nurture what makes them special. I’ve been doing it for many years and it’s becoming an even deeper desire to help people tell their story effectively, so they can help more people.
When you know what makes you unique and special, you can reach the people who really need and want that particular brand of “magic” or superpower. Honey, you’ve got it. We just need to find it and flaunt it.
Magical unicorn, what are you waiting for?
When you look at what you’re bringing to the table in terms of what you offer your clients… what does your education or practical experience offer? Write down a few sentences on your background and/or what makes you qualified or knowledgeable in the area you serve. Next, think about what clients say about working with you. Write down a sentence of two about that. Perhaps you’re a great listener, deeply intuitive, or a quick thinker who is generous with sharing. Perhaps you provide a level of service that no one else in your industry does.
Now, think about what you offer and how it addresses your potential client’s pain points or wants/needs. How does your specific flavor of work address that? Write down a sentence or two on the specifics of your offerings.
Feel out the formula- you got this.
You’ve come up with a bit of a formula for how you approach your work and why people should choose you. If it feels jumbled, that’s perfectly normal.
Try to create a statement or two that encompasses your value proposition (the jumble). This is a statement that can lead your communications efforts.
You don’t have to be a magician to have magic, you know.
It’s all in the knowing- the knowing of yourself, what your value is, and why you’re special. You don’t have to brag, but rather, try and share from an authentic place.
Let me know if you have any questions. I’ve got your back.
